Organic software. Built in Glasgow.

The people who built Scotland’s economy are invisible.

Agilus. For those who matter.

The plumber doing wages at the kitchen table on a Sunday night.

The dental laboratory still finishing a crown after the lab has closed.

The trampoline park owner sweeping the foam pit before anyone arrives.

The fire protection director re-reading a regulation on a Sunday afternoon.

The volunteer responder kneeling on a Kilmarnock pavement at half past one in the morning.

Agilus builds organic software for the people doing the real work in Scotland. Bespoke, founder-led, built after we have spent time on the ground with you. The systems we make are designed around the way you actually work, not the way a Silicon Valley product manager imagined you might.

If that is you, or someone you know, come and find us.

Founder profiles.

We do not build software for corporations. We build organic software for the people who built the business.

Bowden Family / BounceStation, Irvine

The Bowden family runs a children’s leisure centre that opens every weekend to several hundred families. The business was on a generic EPOS system that took twenty per cent of staff time to fight with. We rebuilt the operation on Posilus — sessions, parties, payments, bookings, all on one platform, integrated with Dojo at fair UK card processing rates. The card processing alone now saves hundreds of pounds a month.

Nicky McKinna / MGN Fire Protection, Lanarkshire

Nicky and his two brothers, Mark and Greg, run a fire protection business across Scotland, with engineers on site before most offices open. The compliance documentation alone was killing the operation — four standalone systems, each one bought separately, none of them talking to each other. We brought everything into Tradilus: enquiry to invoice in one place, drawing-linked compliance records, subcontractor tracking, the analytics the directors actually use.

Dr Usman Qureshi / Luxe Skin, Glasgow

Dr Q runs Luxe Skin, an aesthetic clinic on Ingram Street in Glasgow that he founded in 2012. He personally performs every treatment, and the clinic runs on Q-Plan, a monthly subscription that lets patients build a treatment balance and draw on it whenever — a commercial model that maps neatly onto how Agilus thinks about software. We jointly developed AesthetiQ with him: patient records, treatments, scheduling, payments and regulatory compliance, all designed around the chairside.

Ryan Quinn / Operation SafeKillie, Kilmarnock

Ryan co-runs E.R. Medical, the team behind Operation SafeKillie in Kilmarnock town centre. The scheme puts trained First Aiders, FREC 3 and FREC 4 responders, Ambulance Technicians, Nurses and Paramedics on the street during high-traffic hours, with a Medical Controller coordinating with Police Scotland and other services as required. The aim is to deliver immediate care where it is needed and ease the load on the Scottish Ambulance Service and A&E. We built Safilus to handle the encounter recording, multi-agency coordination, and audit-grade documentation the scheme runs on, and offered it free as a community service — the work matters too much for software to be in the way.

The platforms.

One organic software range, built for the Scottish operator.

Point of sale

Posilus.

Point of sale for any operator that takes payment at a counter, terminal, or table. Hospitality, retail, leisure, clinical practices, trade counters, professional services — wherever the till runs. Dojo and Worldpay integrated, lower processing fees, built around how each operator actually takes money rather than how American card networks would prefer.

Booking and scheduling

Agilus Diary.

The Scottish alternative to Calendly, bundled inside every Agilus platform rather than rented per user. Public booking pages, shareable links, embeddable widgets, calendar sync. Built into every vertical and available standalone.

Horizontal capability — built into every vertical Explore Agilus Diary

Voice agent

Agilus Switchboard.

Voice and email handling for the customer-facing side of the operation, from the first enquiry through to a booked appointment.

Currently shipping: intelligent inbound email handling that responds with an outbound voice call to book the appointment, including auto-response and routing.
In active development: inbound call handling and routing.

Property and lettings

Propilus.

Property management for independent letting and estate agents. Enquiry handling, viewing booking, Home Report, LBTT, market appraisal, and the property-side intelligence that takes the cold-call load off the human team. Built for the independent agent who refuses to be absorbed into a national chain.

Clinical aesthetics

AesthetiQ.

Clinical practice management for the aesthetics sector. Botox, fillers, skin treatments, body contouring — the regulated aesthetic procedures market specifically. Patient records, treatments, scheduling, payments, MHRA-aligned regulatory compliance, all designed around the chairside.

Vertical platform Explore AesthetiQ

Private medical practice

Medilus.

Clinic management for private medical practice. Private GPs, private consultants, and private hospitals running on bespoke clinical workflow rather than the NHS systems they came from. Patient records, scheduling, billing, regulatory compliance, integrated with the rest of the operation rather than bolted onto it.

Vertical platform Explore Medilus

Dental practice and laboratory

Dentilus.

Dental laboratory and dental practice management. Practice scheduling and patient records on one side, lab order management and technician workflows on the other, materials tracking and regulatory documentation across both. Designed around how a real dental operation runs end to end.

Vertical platform Explore Dentilus

Building trade operations

Tradilus.

Operations management for the building trade. Contractors, installers, and trade suppliers across the sectors that build, fit out, and maintain Scotland’s building stock. Enquiry to invoice in one place, drawing-linked records, scheduled work tracking, subcontractor management, materials movement, the documentation that has to match the work and the analytics the directors actually use.

Vertical platform Explore Tradilus

Community safety

Safilus.

Community safety and volunteer response operations. Encounter recording, multi-agency coordination, audit-grade documentation for schemes that operate when other services are stretched.

Offered as a community service by Agilus to qualifying organisations.

Vertical platform Explore Safilus

Fluid quality control

Qualus.

Fluid quality control for marine, industrial, and engineering operations. Water, lubricants, hydraulic fluid, engine oil, fuel — sample tracking, analytical results, regulatory reporting, and the field workflows that connect them. Built for operators who run QC as part of their day, not as a separate compliance exercise.

Vertical platform Explore Qualus

Independent fitness and movement

Vitalus.

Operations management for independent fitness and movement businesses. Private gyms, personal training studios, pilates and yoga studios, sports clubs, dance schools, martial arts schools — wherever a member-based business runs on scheduling, payments, and retention. UK alternative to the American gym management platforms that price out the smaller operator.

How organic software gets built.

No surprises. No procurement gauntlets. No six-month sales cycles.

Here is exactly how an Agilus engagement runs, from first conversation to live software.

01

Initial conversation

30 to 60 minutes

A direct call with the founder. No sales script, no qualifying questions. The goal is to understand what you actually need.

02

Discovery and specification

1 to 2 weeks

Mapping your operation in enough detail to estimate the build properly. You see a written specification before any money changes hands.

03

First build

4 to 12 weeks

Engineering, design, and delivery of the first working version. You see progress weekly.

04

Ongoing subscription

Monthly, indefinite

Hosting, support, improvements, integrations, evolution. The same engineer who built it stays on it.

The argument.

The middle of Scotland’s economy is on its own.

Software in Scotland gets built for two markets. One end is small: cheap tools that do not fit, sold by the million. The other end is enormous: bespoke platforms costing six figures, built for FTSE companies with finance directors.

Between them is the part of the economy that actually employs your neighbours. Twelve to fifty people. A warehouse, a workshop, a clinic. Half a million to five million in turnover.

Nobody is building for them. Off-the-shelf does not fit. Enterprise is unaffordable. There is no organic software grown for them. So they carry the cost — in software bills, in staff hours, in late Wednesday nights at the bookkeeper’s desk.

Take the next step.
